Manuscrpit submission

Folia Histochemica et Cytobiologica accepts manuscripts (original articles, short communications, review articles) from the field of histochemistry, as well as cell and tissue biology. Each manuscript is reviewed by independent referees. Book reviews and information concerning congresses, symposia, meetings etc., are also published.

The manuscripts can be submitted only by using online manuscript submission system:
  • illustrations can be either integrated with the text or sent as separate attachments. Preferable formats: text - *.doc, *.rtf, illustrations - *.tiff , *.png, *.pdf (preferred resolution 300dpi)
  • the length of the manuscript (incl. abstract, tables, references and legends to figures) cannot exceed 40, 20 and 5 typed pages respectively for review article, original article and short communication, respectively
The manuscript must be accompanied by the author's statement that it has not been published (or submitted to publication) elsewhere.
Please note that the cost of publication of accepted manuscript is € 200 plus the cost of publication of colour pages (€ 300 per one printed A4 page regardless of the number of images per one printed page).
